CEILING SYSTEMS - EXPOSED GRID

Course Description

This course presents basic theory, layout and installation of acoustical ceilings, focusing primarily on 2' X 2' and 2' X 4' exposed grid ceilings. Ceilings will be leveled using laser technology. Reading prints for ceiling systems information will also be discussed.

Special Instructions

Tools and/or supplies needed: Clear safety glasses/goggles, hard hat, hammer, tool belt, tape measure, utility knife, 7" or 8" linesman pliers, aviation snips, (2) 6” “C” vise grip clamps, 7” or 8” end nipper, 6 R vise grip “C” clamp (2 required), dryline, 1” spring clamps (5 required) and a blue, yellow or orange chalkbox (no red or black)
