SCAFFOLDING - SUSPENDED
Course Description
Suspended scaffolding training begins with a heightened emphasis on the importance of safety connected with this type of work. Applicable OSHA regulations relating to suspended scaffolds are presented and reviewed. Passing a test with a minimum of 75% proficiency is required before proceeding with the hands-on portion of the training. Shop projects include: • exposure to different roof top devices for properly securing suspended scaffolding • installing independent lines for fall protection • assembly and use of a suspended scaffold system Upon successful completion of the training, This training course also serves as the refresher course upon card expiration.
Special Instructions
Tools and/or supplies needed: Clear safety glasses, hard hat, work boots, pen/pencil, notebook and highlighter.

| Certificate Expires: | Four (4) years from date of course completion or if your UBC Scaffold Erector Qualification expires. |
| Refresher Requirement: | You must re-take the class to maintain active status. |
