Local 272’s Barrius Malone CPR Training Help Save Life

CPR training paid off for Local 272 member Barrius Malone on a hot summer night while visiting his aunt. Moments after arriving at his aunt’s home, a neighbor across the street had fallen and stopped breathing, Barrius, who took CPR training, went into action and assisted a first responder at the scene. As they performed CPR they were able to revive and stabilize the neighbor until the fire department arrived. The family to this day is so grateful that Barrius and the first responder were “in the right place at the right time” and were able to save a life. Congratulations to Barrius on a job well, done.
